June 4, 2025 – The City of Coahoma has announced that the Boil Water Notice issued for the public water system (TX1140002) on May 30, 2025, has been officially rescinded. The notice was initially issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) due to issues within the water system that required water to be boiled before use for drinking or human consumption.
After taking the necessary corrective actions and submitting laboratory test results to TCEQ, the public water system has been cleared for regular use. As of June 4, 2025, residents of Sand Springs no longer need to boil water before using it for drinking or other consumption.
For any further questions or concerns regarding this matter, residents are encouraged to contact Ray at 432-213-8038.
