Fire Breaks Out Near Mount Pleasant Cemetery

The Erie Police Department first tweeted about the fire just before 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The fire broke out near the cemetery, located north of Weld County Road 8 and just west of Colliers Boulevard.

Within 20 minutes of the initial report, Mountain View Fire Rescue confirmed that the fire had been contained and extinguished. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries or significant damage.
